    Help plz!

    frendz ,i have installed Fedora core 6 in my laptop(dell,lattitude520). when i tried 2 configure network connections for my lan connections, the network interface card(eth 0)is not been detected.It says that there is no such card.while it was detected in windows os.What must i do?help PLZ THANKZ IN ADVANCE!

    What network card does it uses? Do you have more than one network card? (Wireless, PCMCIA, etc.) Could it have been detected as ETH1 instead? Is it enabled on the BIOS?

    No Way Out Help Plz

    i tried to start a new connection with eth 1 but a message saying dat ŽNO DEVICE DETECTEDŽ is appearing.

    That is your eth0 card type. I found out that Broadcom actually do a GPL'd Linux driver for that card. Here is the link to that page. Happy Linuxing!
