Can VMs do it?

I own a legal copy of Parallels and I am currently installing DOS to be able to play some golden oldies. Since this may or may not be of use, has anyone gone thru this prior to my wee brain thinking of this? What lucks were used to get anywhere?

If things pan out, I will list out what happens with what title on my blog. Never thought I would bust out my trusty DOS 6.22 disks .....

Due to lack of time, I only tried a few games, Carmageddon and Duke Nukem 3d, both puked out with DOS4GW erroring with some segfault.

I just use DOSBox. Works great for all those old games I use to play (and now play. Damn you Thexder 2!!). Windows/Linux/BSD supported.

Unfortunately most of my games are not playable in it. I just found two CDs and tried that. I guess it is easier than using a VM. I did this out of mere curiousity.
