Auto logging into root

Im building a custom linux cd and i would like to now if anyone nows how to auto loggin as root then startx.
I have a very bear linux build with only x & xfce4 i don't have xdm or gdm or kdm
and root has no password.

How it should go.

1. Lillo
2. Kernel boots
3. Auto root login <-------------Where i am now.
4. Auto startx
5. Auto run installer.sh

If anyone can help that would be great.

you can specify the init option on the kernel params

init=/bin/sh should do you just fine

yes, put it on your kernel line, it's a boot parameter
