Dual Monitors

I have a question about using dual monitors.

Alot of video cards now comes with two ports, vga & dvi. Can you use those to have a dual monitor setup?

Yeah, just gotta edit the xorg.conf file appropriately.

Yes it can be done, are you trying to use the two monitors, as spanned or dual monitors, if as spanned need to add lines to the /etc/xorg.conf or XF86config.conf file, let me know if you need more details... will update

What video card type? ATI and nVIDIA need the use of their proprietary drivers to do it well.
