    remote x server

    hi,
    i want to use a headless server as my x-server and my desktop as x-client.
    if anybody have experiance in it please tell me how to do it?

    if they're both on linux activate xdmcp on the headless box in /etc/xdm or /etc/gdm or /etc/kde3/kdm . just edit the .conf to have xdmcp enabled. then you can login remotely on your desktop using xdm or kdm. This is how I have it set up and working.
