prblem in RHEL regarding internet connection

hi to all!!!

I have moved from windows to Linux.
I m having problem with my internet connection.
since my modem is winmodem so i downloaded the driver for it from
www.linmodem.org

but it is only trial version and so it gives only 14Kpbs of speed
So i cant connect to internet using Linux
so can any one help me in this regard.
