    Hi,

Can you tell us exactly what you did, as well as any error messages or undesired behavior that's ocurring?
My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive.

this is how i am trying

    i have three users m1, m2, m3
and they are all in the group "admin"
    i created a partition /dev/hda6
    partprobe
    mkfs.ext3 /dev/hda6
    mount /dev/hda6 /data
    update the /etc/fstab as
    /dev/hda6 /data ext3 defaults,usrquota,grpquota 0 0
    after that
    #mount -o remount /data
    quotacheck -cvf /data
    quotaon /data
    edquota -g admin
then i have edited the file and given the hard and soft limit for group

i have also set userquota individually for m1 and m2 and m3.
and now when i am trying to vreate files in /data directory the group quota limit is not working.
    what to do...
    thanks in advance
