    Backing Up to windows server

    Hello,

I have a linux server with a little program that I made using php + mysql

I have to perform some backups of that program but the only available server is a windows machine.

I want to know what is the best way to do a backup in that server ?

By samba ? Installing a SSH server in the windows machine?

Well IF you have an advice is welcome.!

    Regards,

    Roche

FTP might be another option. Both servers are internal? I know opening FTP on a Windows box is always asking for trouble.

I would set up a samba share on the directory where the files reside, and then have the Windows server back it up, either by a script or by using the built-in backup tool.
