rebooting loop

good days all, have an issue I coudn't find searching the forums, so I thought I would post and get some help.

My desktop constantly restarts then I get the blue screen of death with the following error:

STOP: 0x0000008E (0XC0000005, OX8065BFBF, 0XF6F36A08, 0X00000000)

any help would greatly be appreciated.

There are many reasons for this error, faulty RAM, program referencing an incorrect memory address, etc. A couple of steps you can try:

1) Try starting the PC with only the keyboard, mouse, monitor and the main power supply connected.

2) Try booting into safemode if the above doesn't work. If you can get into safemode, go to Start -> Run, type msconfig. Go to the 'startup' tab and disable all items there. Go to the 'services' tab services (making sure the hide all ms services has a checkmark), disable all items there as well. Reboot the comp and see if the rebooting loop still happens.

3) Try rearranging your ram, start with one stick (that you know is good). Check to see if it is a ram stick causing the rebooting loop.
