Recovering Key

Hi there. I installed Windows 2000 onto my computer, but want to go back to Windows XP, but the problem being is I lost the Windows XP case (meaning no CD key), and because it's got a different operating system, I can't find the CD key. Is there a way to find it on the CD at all, any help would be appreciated

You could always call up MS, explain your situation, and if they are in a good mood :P, they can help you get it activated.
