I have problems accessing my email from Outlook/Outlook Express when using a dial up connection (including ADSL broadband). Sometimes I cannot connect at all and other times I can receive emails but can't reply from Outlook (especially when using the "reply" feature). Webmail does work. There seems to be something happening with the mail server that outlook cannot get through (perhaps a security feature). I am having terrible problems setting up a second accouint on TalkTalk (which uses ADSL) even though my first account works fine. I have tried all the usual tricks including deleting the mail profile and redoing it. TalkTalk tech support doesn't answer the phone (at 10p a minute). I have had similar problems when using a dial up connection overseas.
