Streets & Trips 2005 was uninstalled from a users PC and S&T 2006 was then installed. After the install when the user enters in an address and clicks find the program errors out and askes the user if they want to send the error to MS or not. I have sent the error to MS but they have no info on it. In the error details it states the following.
This application is unable to continue due to an internal error. (6-40028-1073741819).
I have uninstalled and reinstalled S&T 06 with no luck so I uninstalled S&T 06 and reinstalled S&T 05, which was working just fine before, and it started having the same issue. I called MS support and all they had me do is install different printer drivers and remove all the printers. Needless to say this did not work. The user can use the route planner function however with no problem and is currently using this as a work around until I can figure out the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if that will help or not. Looks like in some sections they talk about the printer drives as well. if it does not help let me know, I will see whatelse I can find with some other contacts.
