In IE we can go to file>edit with MS FP. In file>options the program selection will not allow us to change the program to Dreamweaver for editing. Is this a MS thing, can it be changed? We also use Coffee Cup editor and it shows up as an alternative method, why not DW??
    Can anyone provide some idea/s.
    Thanks

Well, I have DW and it only lets me select MS products under the Tools --> Internet Options -->Programs tab.

BUT, someone found how to fix that

    Hope that helps!

Ok, on IE 7 it added it to the drop down to select from, I just have not restarted the system to see how much of it worked.

    Hi Rick,

Tried it and it worked perfecly with DW 8.

Many thanks, my daughter will be thrilled since she lost an FP capability.

Wonderful solution to a thorny (MS) problem.
