I mainly use OneNote as an outliner tool. Once an outline is done, I would like to convert it to an Excel document with each outline level in a different column in Excel. Cutting and pasting does not achieve this. It results in an unusable formatting in Excel with lots of preceeding spaces, with all levels collapsed to the first column. Is it possible that I'm just missing something and there is a way to do this? I encourage Microsoft to add this functionality and consider how normal users (not experts) use their products. This would make for much more useful tools.
