Dear F00ons and F00etts,
Old Fatal Error is doomed! We are sitting at ground ZERO.

We will stay and do battle with Katrina from our front porch. The state has told everyone south of I-12 (which is 2 or 3 miles south of us) to leave. No roads lead to New Orleans, every road is One Way, out of town. Lake Pontchartrain will have a 20 foot plus storm surge, all the rivers that lead into the lake will backup something awful.

We will make lots of coffee, charge the phones, ready the camera and wait.

Here is the punch-line: 10 days ago we bought a mobil home! w00t
We haven't even moved in yet! But its insured for more than we paid and the land its on is worth more than we paid. So this may be God's way of saving me from living in RedNeck Heaven!

Be safe Fatal. It's a bad one alright. The wind damage and flooding it left in Miami is still being cleaned up... And it was only a Cat 1 at that time

Is it just me or has the US been experiencing a lot of these storms ever since Arnold became govenor :shock: Anyway, don't forget to tie down your mobile home, and you could always become an Australian foo if you really want. No storms like that here !

Yeah, me too. That joke I made was before I knew just how bad it is down there. I'm going to try to call him again today... Haven't been able to get through yet.
