Today when I started to burn a cd, Windows Media Player popped up.

I never went thru WMP before, I just highlighted the files in WExplorer, sent to E: and got a notice the files were ready to burn.

How do I go about burning a cd.

    thanks

You can open up windows explorer, drag the files you want to burn to your CDR icon and you should get a message giving you the chance to burn.

What MAY have happen was when you put in a CD some time ago, a box popped up asking the default method to handle CDs and you could have selected Media Player. Just a long shot guess on my part
