well if it is supported you could use digikam I know gnome has one but I cant remember what it is. mine isnt supported but on the desktop it mounts and I just copy my music over.
I have a USB based Sony digital camera. What GUI software do you guys use to transfer digital photos from the camera's Memory Stick? Thanks.
Ubuntu Horay (and breezy on laptop) and I'm mainly interested in Gnome based app..
TIA

I personally use F-Spot. It works really great. Either f-spot or GThumb work fine (both of them being gtk2 apps).
http://gnome.org/projects/f-spot
http://gthumb.sourceforge.net/
I use GTKam. It comes with Dropline.
I second GTKam. It has been working great for me for awhile now.
Although I've been meaning to check out f-spot.
f-stop! One if it's more unique features (and one that intrigues me the most) is the time-line feature (at least that is what I think it's called). It produces a bar graph that can show you which months have the highest number of pictures in it. If you click on the link above it will bring up the homepage for the project. The picture that they use shows the bar-graph time-line feature near the top.
Cheers
nice links folks - i use gtkam myslef, else just yank the flash card...
Thanks guys. Will check both f-spot and gtkam out.
I didn't have time to check them out but ...
