Regestry tracking

There are many registry tweaking progs.
I wonder if there is a way to find diferences in registry before and after installing software and / or modifying e.g. desktop toolbars.

This is because I have a problem with a missing desktop toolbar.
I put one to the left side of the screen. Now it is gone (realy gone).
When I try to put it back again, there is this problem. The new bar can not set to automaticly hide. Windows tells me 'There is already a toolbar on this side that automaticly hides. There can only be one bar hiding automaticly at one side'.

I would like to find the place in the registry where these bars sit.

Do you have any idea?

there is a prog called regtracker which is available on most warez sites. it is pretty detailed and should serve your needs. look / search for regtrack*.* on filesearching.com
