it could be a virus, did you check the privacy tab in the options? it should be on medium
Im having some trouble with IE. Since about the 17th of February my Internet does not work. Some websites like yahoo work, but no images show at all. It says searching for website in the corner, then it says something else, then it goes to page cannot be displayed. It does this almost every day now. Is it some kind of virus that I got? Any help would be appreciated. When I go home I will tell you exactly what it says in the corner when I try to go on pages...

It is, but I recently had the AIM virus which always keeps it on high, but I got rid of that.

Several things you can do.
Restore all defaults.
Check for proxy settings, remove them.
Repair IE.
and so on.

Maybe because you had the virus you have increased the security of your firewall (e.g ZoneAlarm, Norton Internet Security, Windows Firewall, etc.) and it is blocking sites that are actually fine to view. Easy up on the pop-up blocking, cookie blocking and firewall blocking and it should let you view websites again.
I had this problem with ZoneAlarm, so i took the settings down slightly and turn Windows Firewall on and it was fine..![]()
