Well it's confusing as we've done almost everything. Next thing I'd be concerned about is spyware or even virus. Do a complete scan on the system.

After that we'll try changing the port on the router physically, simply plug it in on a different port.

If I'm missing something, which I'm sure I am, someone please jump in and help us jog our memory?

Thursday AM; I've run chkdsk on both C & D. Nothing is different. I am off for a three day weekend. I appreciate the help! Perhaps the solution will come to you over the weekend, or some comrade will read this travail and lift the scales from our eyes. Hoping so!

    THX!

Hoping so, it's a busy couple of days for me too as it's income tax filing time and so on. We'll connect when you get back.

Disconnect your dsl or cable modem and wait 30 sec do the same with your router after your modem is back on, go to my network connections and click on your connection right click, properties and then tcp/ip properties, make sure that obtain an ip and dns are checked the ok twice, go to back to your network connection and right click it and go to status then support and last repair after it finishes open internet explorer and see if it works.
