I'm new to the forum, so I'm not sure if this is the right place but here goes.

I have this laptop with Win XP and I have the wierdest problem. When I press "Tab" it does what it should, but it also types q;3. Also pressing F1 results in a 1 and Help.

I'm not sure if it's something in Win or if it's the laptop itself...

Anyone know what there is to do about this problem?

Laptops have a fn function. If you're using any kind of drivers for the keyboard, reinstall them. Better yet, plugin a USB or PS2 keyboard and test it out.

Something similar happened to me long time ago on my Dell laptop, pressing fn resolved my issue, try that aswell.

Additionally, there might be some settings for how the keyboard responds in the BIOS, that's something I may not be able to help as all BIOS are different but you can certainly look around there as well.
