I have been trying for weeks to figure out how to turn off the stinking Markup view so that when I open my documents they look normal. I can turn it off after I open the doc just fine, but that's just a pain in the ... Can someone please tell me which setting to change to get my doc to open in anormal view instead of the markup view?
What version of Word are you using?
When you start Word, you should get a tracking or reviewing menu bar, click on show and then option. See if you find options that you're looking for there!
