I looked at a couple of sources but I'll need more information.
What is the client side operating system, file system and profile types?
I might ask many questions as we go though.
Maybe you guys can help give me a clue what could be causing our application/data base errors at a private school I help administer.
We're running AOP's Switched on School house school software. It connects to a server remotely which uses MSSQL to maintain the records. We're done countless troubleshooting sessions with AOP's tech support to resolve some of the errors we receive from the program but we're still uncertin about 1 perticular issue.
Originally we had a local Win2000 server but we've since then moved to a remote server.
Here is the sequence of errors recorded within Event Viewer on the server when the teacher attempts to view the At A Glance Screen:

AOP's Tech support has ran cleanup utilites on the database and we've even reconsrtucted/installed the database & network practically(Network, Server database and software) from scratch. But we seem to be the only school that has this issue.
Any information you can provide or related links on this issue would be GREATLY appriciated.
Thank you MSForums.org community & adminisrators.

The profiles on our domain are currently all adminisrator accounts due to us trying to narrow down the issue. The workstations are loging into the domain on our local server but the remote server hosts our school programs server application & database.
We've acctually been troubleshooting the errors in the School program for over a year now but we're narrowing it down 1 step at a time. And I don't have direct access to the application/database "Remote" server. I'm working with the technician who hosts the remote server who is a pro when it comes to this application but he's stomped too. So we've been troubleshooting from both ends. And we're running out of ideas.
geez, it does sound like you've done almost everything. Of course you're missing something.
Could it possibly be a profile issue? Have you tried a local profile instead of roaming?

Actually yes I have. I went as far as to Reinstall our servers OS when we were using it to host our Schools server application. When I did that I set up roaming user profiles and a couple of group policies but I have sence disabled the Group policies & quit using the roaming user profiles.
It doesn't seem to be group policies or permissions. The workstations have Enterprise administrator accounts. The only clue we have is this error I have posted. Can anyone make since of it?
No it doesn't make any sense but I have emailed this code to an IT person who is actively managing SQL server with 3000 clients on win 2k. Hope I'll get an answer back soon.
Thank you for your trouble. B)
No problem, I'll learn something new in this aswell. I don't have any updates today, will get some words tomorrow though.
Sorry Chance, not getting much help from anywhere on this.
