I played the PS2 demo and it looked really great. My parents also enjoy playing Burnout so I'll definately be getting this one.
I have it and i have to say its one of the best racers out. The graphics and gameplay are great and its really fastpaced. I would urge anyone who is thinking of buying a racing game for the xbox to consider this game. EA have really done a great job of it.

I've heard many good things about Burnout 3. I think I'll have to try it.
Yea, Burnout 3 is a really good game. Even the demo for it, which has a whole one track to play and one car to use ('67 'Stang) is great. I spent an hour playing it over and over and over.
Just watching the crashes is worth it.
I heard some controversy over sparks in the game, That the PS2 version had more sparks, and that the XBOX version had less. I have the game, and I like it. Especially when you crash, you get the slow-mo.
Ya ive heard of this somewhere. E.A said that the xbox version handles the crashes better and more realisiticly. As far as the srarks go, i heard that Burnout was originally made for the PS2 but it was decided that XBOX gets it aswell. At that time. They made the sparks come out a bit more arcady for the PS2. But i think its all a bunch of crap.
Sparks? As in when sparks fly out when there's contact against moving metal?Originally posted by The Donald@Jan 2 2005, 11:35 AM
