Word is pretty good, i use it for typing up essays and stuff, but I use like 15% of its features, It is a bit overpowerd for general use IMO, its refelected in the price of it.
Other than essays I use Notepad all the time, simplicity rocks (Y)
Ive used open office too, but I dont really need it, occasional essay nothing else really.
