    nVidia are better on Linux? I have an ATI AGP card on my linux server and never had any problems.

    ATI coz it's the best with Win OS as far as I know

    Certainly is, just like if you add too much ram to your computer you won't see any performance increase at all, in some cases even decreased performance.
