Well, for the millions of programmers that make a living off of Java, I would say yes, at least some of us need it. But since I have been coding less and less Java I don't seem to care quite as much as I used to.

NJ, hmm, since need Java is a relatively new concept I definitely think it refers to the third-world trash receptical taking up valuable seafront property from Pennsylvania.
