Cannot see GIF images on explorer.

I have Windows Xp and Explorer 6 but i cant see any gifs on inter net explorer.
Ive gone to Internet options and checked that everything is clicked. But still nothing. I can see Gifs but they dont animate. Can anyone help? Thanks

so you can see the logo and stuff, there's an animation in your sig, is it not working at all?

You can try restoring defaults. Just go to Tools - Internet Options - Program - click on Restore Defaults.

Likely not, if he can see it in a different browser. I'd say messed up settings.

@Marik, also restore defaults on the advanced tab in IE options.

He only mentioned IE.
Nothing about seperate browsers.

I don't know if it's the same for XP, but this is how you would do it in 98 & Me

Tools>Internet Options>Advanced

Then check for show animations. If it's not checked, then that should fix it. That's my 2 cents

Restoring defaults on advanced tab should do that for him, which I already suggested and it failed.

Next thing I can suggest is to repair IE. You can do that from add and remove programs, Windows components. Fixing it will replace all DLL files with fresh copies and should fix all problems no matter what.
