EDIT: they have a free one and a cost 1 for each version of wimamp.. obviously the one that costs money is going to have 2-3 more features, but i go free!

I was a big fan of winamp when it was in early stages, I think I still have the 1.4 installed on my system. I hated anything newer than that and now 1.4 is too old, won't work with new compressions and stuff.
Media player was an alternative before, now I can't think of another alternative.
Yeah. Real Player is good, but costs money.

i used to just use winamp but not anymore all i use is windows media player and i got no problems with that

i use winamp5 its the best thing since bread (no not sliced because its better than that), plays movies, mp3, wma, and all other microsoft playbacks. I love it, now if only i had a credit card so i could pay the $14.95 for the ripper and burner version, that would be glorius!!
