I vote for AMD, not only are they cheaper, but they also provide the best gaming cpus (FX series). The FX series CPUs allow you to play games at a blistering 64 bits!
Computers using AMD chips tend to spike in CPU usage a lot, for very little things. For example the computer I'm on has AMD processor and when I use my mouse wheel to scroll pages, the CPU usage goes as high as 70%. Which never happens on intel chips.

That is true, SauceE.AMD for gaming
Intel for everything else.
When it comes to value for money you can't beat AMD and I'm a PC gamer so Intel isn't really an option for me. I've had this particular CPU (2600+) for almost a year now and it's been very reliable.
Intel is the best.
