    My newest PC is an Athlon and it has done fairly well but my Intel has lasted since 1995 so it gets my vote.

    Original Intel Chip. Isn't even in the Pentium series.

    have to agree with ya man, intels last way longer than AMDs

    If you look at the current situation, AMD wins. If it also take into account the past, my vote goes to Intel

    Um.. AMD for me, cheap and it's still a CPU, which tends to be better than Intel when you look at benchmarks...........

    Intel defenatly
    Ive had it for a year or so and i had it on the old PC too. It is very reliable for me although there have been insues about it.

    AMD, they last just as long as intel, I have a working AMD 233 MHZ cpu from over ten years ago that still works ( It was getting used up to last year, not by me though :P )

    AMD cpus are cheaper and are better for games. Intel is better for stuff like video processing.
