Photo CD

Does anyone have any experience creating a photo cd that will play in your dvd player?

Depends on your DVD player. I can just burn some .jpg files on a DVD pop in into my DVD and it starts a slideshow. If it finds music files on the same DVD, it plays them in the background. Or you could create your own for any dumb DVD player using dvdslideshow.
