Alright, I am trying to connect to a wireless network that uses WEP encryption. The only problem is that I have to enter the key in HEX, why do I have to do that? I mean, in the router I provide a password, then it generates the 64-bit HEX equivalent it uses for authentication. But on my machine, rather than having to enter the password to get on the network, I have to enter the password in HEX? It remembers the password so I don't exactly have to do this often, but it annoying.
Anyone know anything about Wireless and WEP? I would appreciate your input.
