Site theme

Hi ,
How do you feel with the new site theme ?
I prefer the old style.

this new theme needs to die.. it's drap, boring and the white as always hurts my eyes.

It's a little more blender than before. As most of the light-color theme sites, it doesn't offer certain kind of boldness. Lost identity perhelps?

I agree, it did look bland, and uninspired. I have reverted to almost the same scheme.

I could change it back to dark blue and leave the underlining. Would that be better?

I think the dark blue would be good actually. Having a different color for visited links sort of messes with you when trying to see new posts. That's just my opinion.

I don't understand why the different color would mess up browsing for new posts. Please explain.

BTW, there is a "new posts"link in the beige menu bar at the top of each page. That could help too.

In the mean time, I've made all links dark blue and bold, all visited links not-bold and medium blue/grey. That should make the differences less stark. The purple wasn't right.
