I should be more specific, they doctor could tell it was an infection and it was likely not caused by a virus, thus making antibiotics the hammer of choice. I can only say I'm pleased, they are working great, mood is much better now that my face doesn't look and feel like a certain reindeers nose.

Oh and Jimbo, I basically have sheep in my backyard, some companies here use them as cheap grasscutters (and later they make good party dinners). So I see them quite often... wait... are you people planning to invade Denmark (or New Zealand which is known for having more sheep than people)

Glad it's not the flu for you Lovechild and hope you get better. I just installed FC6 and will need some good advice from you!

I work for a hospital and it offers free flu shots every season but I never take it, I don't trust it. Luckily I don't get the flu either...

You need to start drinking. I drink, and am rarely sick. When I stop drinking then I get sick. See the corrolation here? Also, you think sex is great. WRONG!! Fist-to-face coversations are much better. Plus it lets you release out on a hapless target. These work best in combination. Drink a bottle of Wild Turkey, pick a fight.

At least this works for me.

I figured since I decided to take a break from this place for an undetermined period of time I would at least let my friends know how my health is currently. I've been sick pretty much from December 1st, it was thought I had an infection but antibiotics did not beat it and I kept falling back into illness.

So the other day I got some test results back and I tested positive for multi resistant bacteria so now they have to figure out a way to cure me. So far the solution involves a decontamination of me, my family and my home, we all have to clean out and then use some soap which can best be described as ****ing nasty, I have not gotten it yet but soap which carries the labels "contains acid, might cause burns" and "Use on entire body" does not sound like fun to me.

To that effect, I have now in a month spend roughly 250$ on medication which was not in my budget and since I've been sick and now have a ban on going to town to spread my germs - which also results in me not having gotten my beloved mom a christmas present (yes that was bad, but she's hard to shop for and it normally takes me several attempts to find something she might like.. not being able to leave the house sorta ****ed that plan up).

So broke, sick and miserable.. I just want to get back to normal to be honest, getting rather annoyed with being in bed.

Wow. I'm really sorry to hear that :/

It sounds really serious, they normally take those types of precautions with nasty things like TB. Take care of yourself and let us know how it progresses. I hope you get better quickly.

I'm young and supposedly strong, I should be able to beat it without a problem - however I'm slightly worried about the fact that all my grandparents are here for Christmas. All some what frail elderly people above 90 (even though my grandparents on my moms side at that age still have a some what active life and their own apartment). I would hate it cause them to get a bug like this that doesn't treat easily, it's hard to realise that I'm, potentially at least, poison to my family.

For the next year I have to carry a card and every time I go to the doctor or to the hospital to see my specialist I have to quite literally.. have my orifices probed. Oh and I have to start a religious relationship to cleaning (that will be hard to me, I'm a messy person by nature) and personal grooming (already have that). Oh and being the red tape nation Denmark is, I have to fill out a ton of papers, all of which are currently stuck in the mail and probably won't arrive till after New Years.
