video settings issue FC6 on Intel Mac Mini

    Monitor: Dell P1130
Card: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller
Finally, somehow, through blind trial and error, I got my Intel Mac Mini to dual boot OSX and FC6. Great.

Once I got into the environment I found that my display settings were way off. I had to 'scroll' around the screen with my mouse. So I set it to 480x600, the only resolution where my desktop would fit.

How should I proceed in order to get a decent looking desktop? I already tried using a generic video card, but that really messed up x-windows and it had to revert back to the original configuration.

    Thanks,
    JJJ

Try the system-config-display command, but back up the original /etc/X11/xorg.conf file first. you may have to restore it a couple times.

What's the output of lspci? Does it recognize the card? Is it seen in the /etc/sysconfig/hwconf file?

You should be able to get 1280x1024 easy, but you can always try 1024x768 first. Also, what driver is it using?
    arrogance breeds ignorance

Dunno. How do I find that out? (Linux newbie here...)

All I can tell from the display control panel is the name of the card itself.

How do I run lspci? I opened a terminal and typed 'lspci' but got 'command not found' I did it as 'su' as well, but same thing.
