How Copy Hard disk to Hard disk in Linux
Hi all,
I have installed RHLinux 3.0 on 80GB hard disk and all other application like oracle database, application.
I would like to have Full backup of Disk as it is, Means including OS and application. I want to do cloneing a Hard disk in Linux.
Want to keep a copy of same OS on new Harddisk.
I have 80GB hard disk extra without formated.
How to copy harddisk to harddisk including OS without doing any partions.
Can any one guide me how to make a copy of same hard disk copy.

I believe:
dd if=/dev/hdX of=/dev/hdY
where hdX is the old hd and hdY is the new one
would do what you want.
