Hi,
I have a problem :
When I am booting from a live linux CD like Knopix or Ubuntu, and I want to switch to root user using su , what password should I enter, because there is nowwhere during boot process to choose the password.

Of course, it's different depending on the distribution you re using.

I obtained both answer by going to Google and typing "Knoppix root password" and "Ubuntu Livecd root password". They were among the first results.
