    regarding mysql benchmarking tool

I used osdb and super smack benchmark tools. But in both after installation when i try to run these tools i receive the following message.
super-smack: error while loading shared libraries: libmysqlclient.so.14: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
    same for osdb
I have looked for the libmysqlclient.so.14 and it exists. Then why both of these tools are giving the same error .
    Kindly help.

It may not be where super-smack thinks, or it may not be in your path.
Unfortunately, I don't know where that application expects t find the library.
