    First of, I've had nothing todo with Fedora so this is what a quick search on google came up with.
    From the unofficial fedora FAQ Yums sources are specified through /etc/yum.conf
    Check the last few lines saying
    # PUT YOUR REPOS HERE OR IN separate files named file.repo
    # in /etc/yum.repos.d
    This indicates that the repositories you're using are listed in file.repo located in /etc/yum.repos.d/

    By the way, I did stumble onto this interresting advice
    Don't worry Ma'am. We're university students, - We know what We're doing.
    'Ruiat coelum, fiat voluntas tua.'
    Datalogi - en livsstil; Intet liv, ingen stil.

    hello,
    each repo is listed in the directory /etc/yum.repos.d/
    these can be enabled or disabled by setting the enabled flag to '1' - here is an example of an enabled one:
    Code:
    pbharris@bugs:[~]:cat /etc/yum.repos.d/dries.repo
    [dries]
    name=Extra Fedora rpms dries - $releasever - $basearch
    baseurl=http://ftp.belnet.be/packages/dries.ulyssis.org/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/dries/RPMS/
    enabled=1
    gpgcheck=1
    to disable it you can make this value zero also. If it is already disabled and you do not wish to edit the file run this yum --enablerepo=name.repo where name.repo is in directory /etc/yum.repos.d/ .

    If you wish to disable a repo on a repo that is enabled by default run yum --disablerepo=name.repo
