    PPtp vpn +firewall

    i have installed pptp vpn for linux red hat 9.0.

    i had tried integerating it with iptables ,but then the vpn doesn't work.

    without firewall it works fine

    has any one instlled vpn with firewall.Some ports need to be opened for the vpn.

    that is the problem ,i don't know which ports need to be opeened

    but netstat will output me the ports which are connected,will it also let me know whcih ports need to be opened

    Try opening TCP port 1723 and IP port 47.
