Burning a dual layer DVD

Is there anything extra I need to do after installing Suse 10.1 to allow me to burn a dual layer dvd? I would hate to have to just experiment on $10 discs....

i am running fedora core which uses growisofs and i did not need to do anything special.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to move some stuff off of my server setup, and put it on another machine, and DL DVD seemed to be the way to go, but I wasn't sure if I would have problems. I would have hated to resort to experimenting with these discs. They are just too expensive to make coasters out of...
