Mail forwarding with out running sendmail

I am trying to set up all local mail to be forwarded to a relay server with out running sendmail on a RHAS4 - so far all things point out to having to run sendmail. This is a DB server.

    Thanks,

    OII

Do you want to avoid using sendmail specifically or any mail package? if it is just sendmail, you use something like postfix.
Otherwise, you might be limited. You might want to look at this article.
My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive.
