Just read the Gnu Emacs Manual, it's a fun read on a quiet night![]()
But basicaly, what the wikipedia shows of commands is enough to get started, all that LISP scripting and such, isn't what you want to dive into at first.
If you want to, just treat it as a simple text editor to begin with, it's just the fact that theres all these Meta commands, instead of point and click. It's the same if you wanna go the vim way.
And relaxe, you'll get your degreeThe main thing is not to give up, but to keep on trying...


Maybe if I get into programming one day, after I finish my degree (25 years from now) then I will get into it, and try to take advantage of it's features...
