I am using Suse 10.1, KDE 3.5x and am having some issues with the file manager. I never noticed this before, so I am not sure if this is a new issue, or preexisting...
If I name a file in all caps (i.e. TEST.TXT), when I hit enter, it shows it in all caps then changes it to all lowercase. Now, this is driving me crazy! I do this intentionally, and it is really irritating me.
On my Suse 10.0 machine, I don't have this weird behavior in the file manager, but for some reason rsync is doing it... I could have a file ABC.ISO, and when rsync writes the file to the destination, it will be written as abc.iso. So, when I run an incremental the next day, ABC.ISO is transferred, even though it hasn't changed. ABC.ISO doesn't exist in the destination... only abc.iso. Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated...
