    Gentoo Setup Problems

    title=Gentoo Linux 2006
    root (hd0,6)
    kernel /boot/kernel-genkernel-x86-2.6.15-gentoo-r5 root=/dev/hda7

    So all I need is the name of the kernel and it should work also I tried the SUSE bootloader way which does it automatically but it doesn't work so I'll have to try it manually.

    Do you have an initrd file? I dont do the Gentoo, so I dont know if its needed even, but I would assume so.

    Other than that, Grub is pretty simple and doesnt need more than 4 or 5 lines to get going.
