    Installation Source

    Hi All,

    SUSE LINUX 10.0 (i586) OSS
    VERSION = 10.0

    If you open Yast Control Center, then click installation source, then click
    "add" and select "HTTP" or "FTP" what do you put in the "Server Name" and
    "Directory On Server" fields? I'm sure it's some mirror server or
    something, but can find nothing to piont me in the right direction.

    Thanks,

    a few suse installation sources

    http://ftp.opensuse.org/pub/opensuse...S/inst-source/
    http://packman.unixheads.com/suse/10.0
    http://download.suse.com/10.0/inst-source-extra/
    http://download.opensuse.org/distrib...t-source-java/

    Here are some of the ones I use. To save a little time (if you haven't already figured it out) don't add a trailing slash to the servername & domain or you will have 2 of them.

    For example, in the first line above choose the http radio button and type in just "ftp.opensuse.org" in the Server Name text box then "pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS/inst-source" in the Directory on Server box.

    Naturally adjust the name for your version number if not 10.0

    Hope this helps, J.May
