Linux vpn server+firewall

I m using linux vpn server (poptop)and it works fine in red hat linux 9.I have not configured any firewall in it .Ifi configure a firewall via ip tables it creates problems.

has nay one done this with firewall installed

What kind of problem? What's your iptables rule set?

Most VPN servers run WITH firewall installed.
