I need a little help. My book, Linux Quick Fix Notebook, has been out for a year and I'd like to promote it some more more.
Anyone out there have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

You could add it to your signature on the forum, and add an ad for it that shows on all pages of the site.
My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive.
Only positive reviews on it. Nice!![]()
This book looks like something I need to pick up. While I can do most of what is covered there are areas that I've been thinking about, but haven't had the time to hunt down the documentation online. Besides I like reading from a book better then a computer screen.
Alas I'm strapped for cash, so it'll have to wait. However, at least I know about it now. Thanks for the link. I'll add it to my things to buy list.

Well, I haven't read the book so I can't comment on it. I don't often buy paperback books (the last book I bought was Maximum Linux Security back in 2002) and mostly rely on mailing lists and forums for help that I needed.
But knowing the depth of peter's work, I will recommend the book to those who are looking for any type of help and wanted to have a reference handy. Before that, I always told them to get "Using Linux" book.
E version of the book anywhere for a few of us so that we can review it? If you are not looking for any review, then that's okay.
If you just want to promote it, then you can always post it on mailing lists (by way of signature) and forums. Depending on your audience that you are looking to target, you might as well put some ads.
Do you have a digital version I could read a snippiet of or the entire text? I would be more than happy to read it and plug you on the other linux forums I hit (like fedora or linspire).
Thanks eveyone. The book's website is Quick Fix Notebook and a full eVersion can be found at Linux Home Networking and on Safari as well.
I was out vacationing which caused the delay on my response. Vega$ is a really strange place.
