My friend wants to have a site with shopping cart and stuff for his small business. I've never implemented shopping cart sites. Any pointes? Linux, of course, and Apache compartibility preferred.
TIA
Would they consider useing an outsourced shopping cart service? I have heard of a company called evocative.com that does this for small companies. The business provides the "about" and "email" pages etc, and they have their order people fill in the inventory on line. When a sale is made, notifications are sent and I think there can be hooks into a some accounting packages.
I think they do work for LeapFrog Games and some online wine stores.
